Medics Still Being Monitored After Potential Ebola Exposure

Two British military healthcare workers are still being monitored in hospital after potentially being exposed to Ebola in Sierra Leone.

They both suffered “needle-stick” injuries in separate incidents, and were flown back to the UK.

One was admitted to London’s Royal Free Hospital on Saturday, the other on Monday.

The hospital says neither has symptoms of infection at this stage.

Forces TV correspondent James Hirst spoke to Dr Ron Behrens, who has advised the British Armed Forces on preventing the spread of diseases.
