Meet the Mercian Regiment's Latest Mascot
The Mercian Regiment is one of the few in the British Army to have its own official mascot.
Private Derby, their regimental ram, has accompanied their soldiers from the battlefield to the parade square since the 1800s.
The unit are currently deployed on a UN peacekeeping mission in Cyprus, where Carla Prater has been to meet the latest edition to the battalion.
