Military Ombudsman to Replace Service Complaints Commissioner

The government says the appointment of a military ombudsman means claims of bullying and harassment in the forces will be handled more quickly and effectively.
 
The ombudsman will replace the Service Complaints Commissioner after a vote in the Commons.
 
But civil liberties campaigners say the new role still won’t have enough power to hold the MoD to account.
