MoD Accused Of Taking Risks With Malaria Drug

The Ministry of Defence has been accused of knowingly risking the mental health of its own soldiers.  

Its after new figures reportedly showed that almost a thousand service personnel have needed psychiatric treatment after taking the anti-malarial drug Lariam.  

The Independent newspaper features an exclusive report linking those suffering with mental health to their past use of Larium – medication which has been banned by defence ministeries in other countries.
