MoD Figures Show 560 More Reservists Since April
New figures released by the Ministry of Defence show that Britain's trained volunteer reserve force has increased by 560 members since last April.
It brings the total number of reservists to just under 24,000.
The Army reserve increased by 420 in that time to just over 20,000, with an additional 10,000 Army Reservists needed by 2019.
The MOD says it shows that improvements made to the recruiting pipeline are working, but opposition MPs say recruitment is too slow.
