"MoD Loses £3bn in Last Financial Year"
Whitehall departments lost over £5 billion in the last financial year, with the Ministry of Defence accounting for more than half of that total, according to a report out today.
The pressure group Taxpayers' Alliance say its findings, which include the loss of £6 million for earplugs that weren't fit for purpose, expose the scale of inefficiency within government.
