"New Government Needs To Consider UK's Role In World"
A former First Sea Lord has told Forces TV that whichever party wins the election, it will need to consider what part the UK should play on the global stage.
Speaking ahead of the RUSI and Forces TV defence debate, Admiral Sir Jonathan Band says it's absolutely vital that the country continues to spend two per cent of its national wealth on defence - but he's warned that military capabilities need to match foreign policy.
The Admiral added that the world has changed since 2010's National Security Strategy was written.
