"None Of The Political Parties Stack Up In Defence"
The man that used to be Britain's most senior officer in NATO is warning that none of the political parties "stacks up in terms of defence".
General Sir Richard Shirreff's opinion comes ahead of Forces TV's debate on important defence issues ahead of the 2015 general election.
Recently retired Sir Richard says he fears more defence cuts will follow the election, whoever wins.
Speaking to Forces TV he also made a passionate plea for better resourcing and explained why he felt it was so important for Britain to spend two per cent of national wealth on defence.
