"Nonsensical" To Fight Islamic State In Iraq But Not Syria

A former defence secretary says the government must get rid of its "nonsensical policy" of fighting Islamist extremists in Iraq but not in Syria. 
 
Dr Liam Fox also told Forces TV there should be no 'salami slicing' of defence in the forthcoming Strategic Defence and Security Review. 
 
He spoke to James Hirst, who asked him if Islamic State poses more of a threat to the West than Russia in the current climate.
