Remembering The Korean War: Veterans Gather To Mark Anniversary

British veterans of the Korean war have gathered in London to attend a ceremony marking 62 years since the end of the conflict.

A veteran from the war remarked:

"We are indebted to the Koreans who are so generous to us and have paid for the memorial. It becomes embarassing to be quite honest. They never forget, and they treat us better than we are treated in our own country."

The event took place at the new Korean War Memorial in Whitehall.
