Reports: "Hundreds of Islamic State Fighters Killed by Iraqi Army"

The Iraqi Army has killed more than 250 Islamic State fighters in the past few days, according to reports.

A senior military commander in the country is quoted as saying by Sky News:
 
"We've killed many - more than 250 terrorists in the past few days.
 
"With the Iraqi Air Force and military helicopters and coalition airstrikes contributing to our ground forces, the coalition strikes provided cover for our troops to push forward."
