Rick Clement One Step Closer To Cenotaph Goal

A veteran who was cut in half by a Taliban bomb is a step closer to his goal of walking again.

Rick Clement stepped on an IED in Afghanistan five years ago and has been in a wheelchair since.

But, with the help of new prosthetic legs, he plans to walk around the Blackpool Cenotaph and lay a wreath for his fallen comrades.

It comes after a video of him walking on his new prosthetic legs went viral recently, with over 1,700,000 views online.

He now faces a new obstacle though. He needs a hernia operation - but says that won't stop him.
