Russia Adopts New Military Doctrine Listing NATO as Main Threat
Russia has updated its military doctrine, highlighting the expansion of NATO's military capabilities as one of the main threats to its national security. President Vladimir Putin signed the doctrine over Christmas, according to a statement released by the Kremlin.
It also lists other threats like the deployment of strategic missile defence systems, 'global strike' doctrines and plans to place weapons in space.
