"Russian Combat Aircraft Tracked by NATO and Swedish Air Force"
NATO jets and Sweden's air force were scrambled on Tuesday to escort Russian combat aircraft flying over the Baltic Sea, according to officials.
Two nuclear-capable Russian bombers and two fighter planes were flying in international airspace, according to Sweden's armed forces.
NATO said it scrambled Danish and Italian Jets based in Lithuania to identify the Russian aircraft.
It's thought the planes were heading to the Russian Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad.
