Sailor And Airman Awarded Medals For Gallantry
A sailor and an airman have been recognised for their bravery.
Petty Officer Russell Adams and Flight Lieutenant Edward Berwick received gallantry awards at Windsor Castle.
Flt Lt Berwick was awarded the Air Force Cross (AFC), whilst Petty Officer Adams received the Queen's Gallantry Medal (QGM).
Earlier this year saw 139 members of the Armed Forces named in the latest Operational Honours and Awards List, including Lance Corporal Joshua Leakey, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his actions in Afghanistan.
