Soldier Dies At Bicester Barracks

A soldier has died at St David's Barracks in Bicester.

The man, understood to be in his twenties, was found earlier in a critical condition and died before he could be taken to hospital.

Thames Valley Police who attended the scene of the incident say there are no suspicious cirmcumstances surrounding the death or any third parties involved.

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson confirmed that a full investigation is underway and no further details have been released at this time.

Earlier this summer members of the 1 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps started to move into the Oxfordshire site after pulling out of Princess Royal Barracks in Gutersloh, Germany.
