Talks Held On Future Of Britain’s Defence Spending

Britain’s top military officers have held talks with the Chancellor about the future of Britain’s defence spending.
 
It’s reported George Osborne was trying to get their support for further savings.
 
The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Sir Nick Houghton, was joined by the single service chiefs, the Chief of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General John Lorimer, and his vice-chief for the discussions.
