Veterans Return to Site of Battle of Iwo Jima

Dozens of veterans have returned to the site of the Battle of Iwo Jima.

70 years ago an American force led by the US Marines Corps battled Japanese forces for control of the volcanic island, with terrible losses on both sides.

The event, dubbed a Reunion of Honour, saw dignitaries and serving personnel from the US and Japan join the veterans in remembering the sacrifices made there.
