VJ Day: Granddaughter Of PoW Tells His Stories Of Survival

Hundreds of people gathered in central London to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory Over Japan Day.
 
One of those in attendance was Gemma Brown, whose grandfather was a prisoner of war.
 
Arthur Ronald Taffs, of 118 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, was captured by the Japanese in Singapore on the 15th February 1942.
 
Here Gemma shares some of the horrific stories her grandfather told her about his time as a prisoner of war.
