VJ Day: A Son's Recollections Of His Former PoW Father

Hundreds of people have gathered in central London to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory Over Japan Day.

Emma Nelson has been speaking to veterans and the relatives of those who served in the Far East.

Group Captain Tony Radcliffe's father was a prisoner of war and worked on the infamous Burma–Siam Railway, also known as the Death Railway.

He shared his father's memories with Forces TV.
