Wages Dispute Ends as Defence Support Group Accepts Pay Rise

Staff at the Defence Support Group have accepted a new offer to end a long-running dispute over pay.

Members of the Unite union voted nine-to-one in favour of a one per cent pay rise, plus a bonus.

The workers, who maintain and repair military equipment for the Ministry of Defence, have taken 16 days of strike action since the row first flared last year.
