Recovering servicemen and women in the North East have taken to the great outdoors to learn about shooting game and managing gundogs.
A new Help for Heroes project has seen participants spend a day a month learning land management skills.
It's work that will eventually earn them a qualification in 'Land Management and Country Sports'.
