2023 RAF Sports Awards: The winners

The Royal Air Force have celebrated their best sportsmen and women at the 2023 RAF Sports Awards at Halton House.

Squadron Leader Simon Almond is the RAF's Sportsman of the Year for his leadership of the Air Force Water Polo team. 

Meanwhile, Welsh international rugby union star Flying Officer Carys Williams-Morris, who's currently away in New Zealand with the Wales squad, was named as Sportswoman of the Year.

The ladies' senior hockey team were announced as Team of the Year while other awards included three lifetime achievements for contributions to RAF Sport.
