Army women prevail against RAF to win Inter Services 40-over Cricket

Watch: The British Army dominate over RAF to win 40-over Cricket Inter Services.

The Army women's cricket team have beaten the Royal Air Force in dominating fashion to win the Inter Services 40-over Cricket title at Vine Lane.

The ladies in red showed that they are a force to be reckoned with after they made 263 for 4 in their 40 overs, with the Air Force falling just 19 runs short.

The Army's win in the 40-over comes after they took the T20 Inter Services title earlier this year.

Earlier in the championship, the Royal Air Force counted a win against the Royal Navy, but the Army's superiority on the field means the reds continue to sit at the top of military cricket.

Emily Wall was named player of the match and Amanda Potgieter was announced player of the tournament.
