Ending a 14-year rut: Royal Navy pull off shocking win over British Army in Inter Services T20 opener
The Royal Navy have kickstarted the 2024 Inter Services T20 championship with a stunning win over the British Army.
It's the Navy's first win over the Army in T20 competition since 2010, which is the last time they won the championship.
Ben Johnston was the star of the show with the bat as he opened the order for the Navy and hit an impressive 67 runs before being bowled by Denzel James.

The Navy finished their innings with a good score of 154/6, and while Army opening batsman James hit 57 runs, his partnerships failed to yield a winning result.
Liam Fletcher (0), Keddy Lesporis (4), Oskar Kolk (8) and Benjamin Ringrose (3) all failed to get going against the terrific bowling of Charlie Rutter and Nathan Hill, who grabbed three wickets each
When Hill took Sam Blackburn's wicket, the Army were all out two overs before their 20 - and 46 runs behind their target.
