Overcoming the obstacles: British Army retain Inter Services cyclo-cross championship

It's another year of British Army success in the world of cyclo-cross after they retained their championship in Uxbridge.
The event, held at Hillingdon House Farm Sports Ground, saw a terrific performance from the Army riders as they picked up every podium spot in the open race and the winning position in the women's event.
Sergeant Rich Jennings was the winner of the open race after a stylish showing and Captain Simon Hale finished second and Sergeant Dan Preece in third.

The women's race was won by Captain Claire Nott with RAF pair Corporal Sarah Toms (second) and Air Specialist (Class 1) Technician Laura Sheppard (third) completing the podium.
The RAF finished second in the Inter Services team standings with the Navy in third.
