Debut delight for Royal Navy women as they win Inter Services water polo championship

WATCH: Inter Services water polo titles decided in Aldershot

The Royal Navy women's water polo team have been crowned Inter Services champions on their tournament debut.

The Dark Blues had already beaten the Royal Air Force earlier in the championship before they dismantled their British Army rivals 21-4 in Aldershot.

Elsewhere, the Army have won the men's Inter Services title thanks to a last-minute goal against the defending champions, the Royal Air Force.

A low-scoring game saw Nick Covington grab the goal that helped the Army edge past the RAF 7-6.

Victory for the Army comes just twelve months after they lost the title to the Airmen in another tight tussle.
