Manchester United women's academy players get the Army experience at ATR Winchester

Watch: Man Utd women's academy's British Army experience

Manchester United women's academy players have received the British Army treatment as part of a training day at ATR Winchester.

The team were invited in collaboration with the Army women's football team as they took on the high ropes, jumps and command tasks.

They also played a training fixture against the Army, with the Red Devils running out 8-0 winners.

The military have helped many civilian teams in the past prepare for major competitions and the United youngsters were the latest to gain a glimpse of Army life.

While the Army team took a heavy defeat, facing such talented youngsters will give them an edge heading into next month's Inter Services campaign.
