Royal Marines beat RAF Regiment to win 2022 Combat Cup
The Royal Marines have won the 2022 Combat Cup at RAF Cosford.
They beat the RAF Regiment in a title-deciding match after the Infantry pulled out of the competition due to scheduling issues.
A 3-0 win for the Marines means they've completed the double after beating the Parachute Regiment for the Falklands Cup in July.

This was the first Combat Cup to take place since 2018 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Goals from Stu Morgan (2) and Jay Williams drove the Marines to a resounding victory and they could have added to that lead.
They hit the woodwork three times throughout the match and missed a number of clear opportunities.
It is hoped that the Infantry will be able to compete at next year's Combat Cup which will make it the first full-strength competition in five years.
