Team USA dominate Team GB to win back Simpson Cup

Team USA have won back the Simpson Cup after victory in the 2021 tournament.
A dominant 13-5 win over Team GB meant the Americans won the ninth edition of the golf tournament.
The 2020 edition of the competition, which is played in the style of the Ryder Cup between injured service personnel and veterans, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There was concern that Team GB would be able to compete at The Creek in Locust Valley, New York.
However, they did travel and completed two full days of competition, including a day of fourballs and a day of singles action.
After the first day of action, Team USA had a commanding 5-1 lead giving them a huge advantage into the final day.
Team GB couldn't make a comeback, meaning the US have now won five of the nine competitions held in Simpson Cup history.
It's expected that the 2022 competition will take place in the UK.
