UK v USA: British team retain Simpson Cup as tournament ends in draw for first time
Team UK have retained the Simpson Cup after a thrilling comeback sealed a draw at Royal Lytham and St Anne's in the midst of Storm Agnes.
The Ryder Cup-style golf tournament is for wounded, injured and sick veterans of the British and United States military.
The UK team were staring at defeat when experienced golfer Ian Bishop claimed six holes in a row to seal a draw against the Americans.

This is the first time the Simpson Cup has ended in a draw, and means Team UK retain the trophy they won in 2022.
