'Unbroken Ukraine': Team Ukraine competitor's message to the world

A Ukrainian competitor at the Invictus Games is on a mission to show the world that his country cannot be broken.

Ihor Bezkaravainyi also revealed that one of his teammates has left his position fighting in the conflict to compete at the Games.

During an interview with Forces News reporter Briohny Williams, Bezkaravainyi made a plea for support for his country.

"We had one mission when we started preparing to compete," the Team Ukraine competitor said.

"Now our mission is to say to the whole world about unbroken Ukraine.

"Ukrainians need more and more and more weapons because the Russian army is a big army.

"We fight with one of the biggest armies in the world. We understand it is our fight, but we need support and new weapons."

Speaking through a translator, Bezkaravainyi told Forces News that he is competing at the Invictus Games as a way of spreading a message.
