Meribel 2017: From Athlete To Guide

Three military athletes who are familiar names at the inter-services snow sports championships now represent Great Britain as guides for visually-impaired skiers.

Jen Kehoe, of the Army, skis with Mena Fitzpatrick, while Royal Navy man Brett Wild has just won a gold and silver at the world PARA championships in Italy with Millie Knight.

The RAF's Gary Smith, meanwhile, guides Kelly Gallagher.

And as Forces Network's Cath Brazier found out, it speaks volumes about the level of skill they have built up over years of military sport.
