Navy shooters dominate RAF Long Range Shooting Championships

The Royal Navy Small-bore shooting team have dominated the RAF Long Range Shooting Championships, an event that is now open to members of other services.
The Navy sent four shooters to the championships, which has now been reinstated at Bisley since the Covid-19 pandemic, where competitors at all levels represent their service and where they can gain valuable competition experience.
Despite strong performances from the RAF, Army and Police, the Navy took home a total of 12 of the possible 13 wins in the Open Prone Category.
The Navy shooting team now prepare for up-and-coming events throughout September, including the Police Open Championships, the Inter Services and UK Armed Forces competitions.
