Royal Navy netball impress in opening match but Army champions power to win

The British Army open netball team have beaten the Royal Navy in the opening match of the Inter Services.

It's been 10 years since anyone but the Army have won this open competition, and in 2016, that was the Royal Navy

However, despite an incredibly strong first half from the Senior Service, they couldn't hold on to the lead as the Army pulled away to win 48-29.

In the other games, the Army development team beat the Royal Navy 43-19, and the RAF masters are halfway to defending their crown by beating the Navy 44-34.
