UKAF 2021 Team of the Year announced

The British Army women's rugby league team have won the UK Armed Forces Team of the Year award for 2021.

The team, who came so close to victory in the first ever Super League South Grand Final, were chosen as the Army team of the year last month and beat the Royal Navy equestrian team, RAF sea anglers and UKAF men's volleyball team to win the title.

The team award winner was announced early ahead of March's UKAF sports awards.
