Royal Air Force and England Rugby Union star Amy Cokayne helped England continue their winning start to this year's Six Nations campaign.

The England hooker was part of a dominant display from the Red Roses, who defeated Italy 68-5 at the Franklin's Gardens stadium in Northampton.

England now returns to the top of the standings with their second bonus-point win.

England ran in an impressive 12 tries against the Italians with Prop Sarah Bern being named player of the match.

The Red Roses are now on a record-breaking run of 21 successive Six Nations wins coming into the clash with Italy.

There were no tries this week for Cokayne, who helped England get their Six Nations campaign off to a flying start with a 58-7 win over Scotland in round one.

She scored two first-half tries to contribute to England's total of 10 tries as the Red Roses began their quest for a fifth successive Six Nations title.

Meanwhile, RAF star Carys Williams-Morris played in Wales' Six Nations second-round win over Scotland.

The Wales Women having played on Saturday had moved to the top of the TikTok Women's Six Nations table after securing a 22-34 victory at the DAM Health Stadium, following up on their comfortable 31-5 win over Ireland.

Scotland had to do without their own RAF star Sarah Bonar, who is still recovering from a collarbone injury but was named to Scotland's Six Nations squad earlier this month.

There is hope that Bonar will be available for the final block of their fixtures against France, Italy and Ireland.

In two weeks' time, the England and Wales RAF stars will clash when the Red Roses travel to Cardiff Arms Park.

England will be looking to end Wales' impressive start to their campaign and continue their own record-breaking successive Six Nations wins.
