Army v Navy: Women make history at Twickenham

The first-ever women's Army v Navy match at Twickenham Stadium has been played with the Army clinching the Inter Services title.

Anticipation has been growing for the occasion since it was announced in 2019 that the teams would also play at Twickenham.

Originally, it was intended to happen in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed until this year.

In the match, the Army continued their 100% record in Inter Services matches against the Navy.

Courtney Pursglove stole the show for her service with a hat-trick of tries and a number of successful conversions.

The Navy, who were considered big underdogs for the match, did their best to keep the Army out but fell to a 68-0 defeat.
