British Army hosts UK Super Sevens Series final round

The British Army has played host to the final round of the UK Super Sevens Series in Aldershot with forces teams in the competition.

Players from the Army and the Navy were in action as the annual competition came to a close.

The final round was held at the Army Rugby Stadium to celebrate Armed Forces Day.

Despite the home advantage, it was disappointment for the Army men's team who crashed out of the cup at the semi-final stage.

The Royal Navy team also faced frustration as they were beaten in the quarter-finals.

In the women's bowl competition, the Army tasted success as they beat Hong Kong in the final to win the trophy.
