Inter Services rugby in Scotland: RAF beat Navy in opening match

The RAF have won the opening match of the 2022 Inter Services Scotland rugby union championships.

A 19-10 win over the defending champions, the Royal Navy kicked off the day's proceedings in Edinburgh.

The Navy suffered two injuries in the first half that disrupted their tactics and led to their defeat.

Tries from Ben Collins (converted), Jamie Wilson and Nathan Mason (converted) sealed success for the RAF.

Ryan Scott, who kicked the opening points with a penalty, pulled a try back for the Navy and converted the kick.
