Records Smashed By Army Women In Rugby Rout
This was a simple story of Army strength and dominance at Kneller Hall.
Within minutes full-back Katie Hancock got things underway, followed up quickly by Caz Roberts.
Scores three and four came from Louise Dodd, on her way to a quartet of tries.
Team captain and fly-half Gemma Rowland slotted home seven conversions in the first half, with Rae Metters, Jess McAuley-Roberts and Jade Mullen also getting their names on the scoresheet.
Try machine Dodd then turned kicker for the second 40, making her top scorer for the match.
McAuley-Roberts grabbed a hat-trick of her own, ably assisted by brilliant efforts from Chelsey Snead and Chantelle Miller
The 95-0 drubbing is an inter-services record - the biggest score in the history of the women's tournament – and one which saw the Army maintain their 100% record.
