Royal Navy's Sportsman of the Year Royal Marine Taylor Lawrence capped off a hugely successful weekend at Winterberg in Germany with more medal success.

Today he has been part of the Team GB 4-man bobsleigh team that has claimed a silver medal in their World Cup Race.

Driven by Brad Hall,  Lawrence, with Arran Gulliver and Greg Cackett produced an impressive second heat of 54.49 seconds on the Winterberg track to leapfrog from 6th place after heat 1.

They were beaten only by the world and Olympic Champion, Germany's Francesco Freidrich's team.

Team GB's success follows their gold medal at Lake Placid in the last World Cup race before Christmas.

Hall's driving has been key, but so much of their success is also down to leading the start times at the top of the track.

Hall and Lawrence also took a bronze medal in yesterday's two man race at Winterberg to complete a brilliant opening weekend of World Cup competition in Europe.

They now head to Altenberg in Eastern Germany for the next round of races.
