How HMS Queen Elizabeth compares to India's newest aircraft carrier

Forces News has taken a look at INS Vikrant, India's newly-commissioned aircraft carrier, and compared it to Britain's HMS Queen Elizabeth.

Celebrating the rollout of their latest warship in Kerala, the Indian public got a glimpse of the 45,000-tonne vessel after a 13-year wait for it to be built.

However, HMS Queen Elizabeth weighs 65,000 tons and took only five years to build â€“ albeit at more than double the price.
