Weapons systems being used in the defence of Ukraine have been on display at a Thales UK plant in Northern Ireland.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson inspected some of the equipment during a visit to the east Belfast site on Monday.

The UK has provided thousands of anti-tank weapons to Ukraine's armed forces, including next-generation light anti-tank weapons systems, or NLAWs, and Javelin missiles.

Other hardware being supplied to Ukraine by the UK includes Starstreak high-velocity anti-air missiles to help Ukrainians defend themselves against aerial bombings, as well as body armour, helmets and combat boots.

The UK has also pledged to provide Brimstone missiles to Ukraine.

Earlier this month, a new £300m military aid package from the UK to Ukraine was set out by Mr Johnson, including electronic warfare equipment.

Watch: Some of the hardware different countries have been sending to Ukraine.
