Could militaries learn from Ukraine's reported light attack vehicles success?
Footage reportedly from the Ukrainian offensive in Kherson appears to show Ukrainian Humvees speeding across open ground towards Russian positions to deploy soldiers to the frontline.
The reported success of these fast-light attack vehicles in Ukraine has led some to question whether a tactical lesson can be taught to other militaries in the future.
Forces News has spoken to defence analyst Nick Drummond whose first reaction to the footage is to acknowledge that "the Ukrainians are fighting an enemy that is poorly trained, poorly led and poorly equipped", and the Ukrainian's greater "risk appetite" led to a "shock effect" which could have gone disastrously wrong.
