Losses to Russia's 'horde' won't impact artillery success

The head of the UK's Armed Forces believes Russia is running out of troops and hi-tech missiles in Ukraine, but security expert and former British Army officer Glen Grant says Russia won't be deterred.

Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, says that, while Moscow may achieve "tactical successes" in the coming weeks, any notion the war had been won is "nonsense".

But Mr Grant explained that Ukraine will be more likely to face more effective ground troops the longer the war rages on, and any losses to the "horde" being thrown out in numbers are unlikely to impact the success of Russia's deep strike capability.
