Ukraine: Third attempt to evacuate Mariupol steel plant underway
A desperate attempt to evacuate civilians from a steel plant in Ukraine is underway.
It is the third attempt to save those inside the Azovstal steel plant, located in the war-torn city of Mariupol.
The steel plant has become a symbol of resistance as the Russian army continues its assault on the site – with some 2,000 Ukrainian fighters and 200 civilians, including at least 20 children, holed up inside with dwindling supplies.
