Ukraine: New commander should bring control to Russian campaign, analyst says

Russia's new commander in Ukraine will bring control to its faltering campaign, according to a retired British Army officer.

General Alexander Dvornikov previously commanded Russian troops in Syria.

General (Ret'd) Sir Richard Barrons, co-Chair of Universal Defence and Security Solutions, told Forces News "in this next round, in the Donbas" we should expect to see a lot more Russian firepower to "batter their way through the Ukrainian positions".
