Op Nightingale: Helping military veterans through archaeological digs

On a hilltop on Salisbury Plain, the secrets of our ancestors are being unearthed.

The site is where, in the 7th century AD, the Anglo Saxons decided to bury their dead, with more than 20 graves discovered.

While some working on the site are professional archaeologists, most are military veterans, either injured or struggling with their mental health.
