Military veterans and personnel join countryside walk initiative
A cross-generation group of Army veterans have come together as part of a new initiative bringing personnel into the countryside.
The activity has been organised by the group Walk + Talk.
Co-founder Robin Bourne-Taylor, who was a former captain in the Household Cavalry, the holder of a Conspicuous Gallantry Cross and a two-time Olympic athlete, told Forces News: "Walk + Talk is a simple, no fuss, no cost, way to connect.

"It's a really positive way to get you away from the stress of day-to-day life, get outside in the fresh air with people that we can all instantly connect with.
"Whether you served together or you didn't, whether you're a veteran or serving or family, I guess the beauty of Walk + Talk is that everyone completely gets it."
